Privacy Policy
This policy is split in two: the website you are reading now, and the console you use after signing in. The two handle data very differently, so they are described separately.

1. This website (nexcheck.net)
This site is fully static, with no server-side logic, and no forms anywhere on it — we never ask you for a name, email or phone number here. Two third-party scripts do run on the site; both are described below.
- Visit analytics
- Used to understand page volume and referral sources. It collects the page URL, page title, referrer, browser language, and screen and window dimensions — nothing more. It writes nx_-prefixed identifiers to localStorage and sessionStorage to distinguish sessions, sets no cookies of its own, and performs no canvas or WebGL device fingerprinting. The script fails over between several collection domains to stay available.
- Live chat widget
- Provided by a third-party support vendor and loaded asynchronously after the page. Note that the widget registers a visitor identifier with the vendor as soon as the page opens, and reports the page URL and title you are on, how you arrived, and your device type — none of which requires you to click the chat box. It also sets several cookies prefixed _selfchat_ to remember whether the panel is open. What you type is sent to the vendor only when you actively send it. The widget is operated independently by the vendor, and their own policy governs that data.
Beyond those two, the site loads no advertising trackers, and fonts and images are self-hosted on this domain rather than fetched from third parties. We do not link analytics data to your console account.
Your network provider and our hosting provider may still record standard access logs (IP address, request time) for connectivity and security. These are generated at the infrastructure layer and used to prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
If you would rather not be counted, or not have the chat widget record which pages you visit, block the relevant domains with an extension or restrict third-party cookies in your browser. Apart from live chat itself becoming unavailable, nothing else on this site depends on them.
2. Links that leave this site
This site links to the destinations below. Once you follow one you have left this site, and the destination’s own privacy policy applies:
- The console and signup pages (app.nexcheck.net) — the system that actually delivers the screening service
- Sibling products from the same group: NexIP, NexSMS, NexBrowser, NexSCRM
- The Telegram support channel
- The vendor behind the live chat widget in the corner of the page
3. Number data in the console
Screening runs inside the console. The number lists you submit there are your data, and we process them only to the extent needed to run the checks you asked for.
Data is encrypted with AES-256 in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent or hand your submitted lists to third parties unrelated to running your checks, and we do not use them to build number lists sold to anyone else.
Running a check requires querying the target platform to determine a number’s status; this is inherent to how the service works.
You can view, export and delete your data from within the console. To delete an account together with all associated data, or to exercise rights of access, rectification, restriction or portability, contact us through the channel below and we will act within a reasonable period.
4. Your responsibilities as data controller
When you submit a list to this platform, you are normally the data controller for that data and we act as a processor on your instructions. That means:
- You must ensure that how you obtained the numbers, and what you intend to do with them, complies with the law where you operate and where your audience is
- Where GDPR applies — the EU, the UK and comparable regimes — you need a lawful basis for processing and must meet your notice obligations to data subjects
- You must observe the target platforms’ own terms and local rules on commercial messaging
We cannot assess the provenance of a given list on your behalf, and we are not responsible for how you use the results.
5. Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes to how data is handled will also be announced in the console.
For any question about this policy or your data, reach us through the Telegram channel listed on the Contact page.
